Xmas

Interesting holiday. I spent the course of the day with a few friends of the Jewish persuasion, one of Thai descent, three from Ghana, and one New Zealander (who was also a Canadian through citizenship). Truly an international and cross-cultural representation of Christmas, Hanukkah and nothing important whatsoever. The two events, brunch and dinner, took place in Queens and the Bronx respectively. Including last night's event in Stuy town (which actually included a few of the above souls, and an Irish American to boot), I think I covered the globe and New York City pretty well.

A good time was had by everyone, I think. And I didn't even need a gift to make it that way.

But all the food helped. Yum.
